Palm Beach Digest – First Edition

👋 Hey Palm Beach!

Welcome to the very first Palm Beach Digest! Think of us as your friendly neighbor who always knows what’s happening—without the binoculars.

The September rain continues to come down, but the calendar is packed with cool things to do—from beachfront concerts to fashion runways to cleaning up our shores (yes, that counts as cardio).

Whether you’re craving music, food, laughter, or dinosaurs telling jokes (seriously), Palm Beach County has you covered this week.

At the end of today’s edition, you’ll find the best events happening this week to help plan your weekend.

Thanks for being here and making this community what it is.

In today’s edition:

  • UltraCon invades West Palm Beach

  • City and county updates you should know

UltraCon takes over West Palm Beach

Calling all superheroes, wizards, and time travelers—UltraCon of South Florida is landing at the South Florida Expo Center (Sept 19–21). This mega pop-culture convention brings celebrity panels, cosplay contests, retro gaming, and aisles of collectibles. It’s a weekend paradise for families, geeks, and curious onlookers who just love spotting Stormtroopers in the snack line.

Key takeaways:

  • Sept 19–21 at South Florida Expo Center

  • Features cosplay, comics, gaming, and celebs

  • Fun for fans and families alike

Miles for Miracles Fun Run/Walk 🏃‍♀️

Lace up and feel good twice—once from the workout, and once from helping others. The Miles for Miracles Fun Run/Walk (Sat, Sept 20 in North Palm) is back for its second year. Choose a 1, 2, or 3-mile course, enjoy a morning stroll or jog, and finish with breakfast on the house. All proceeds benefit Mia’s Miracles Foundation, so your steps truly matter.

Here’s how to participate:

  • Register for the run/walk online

  • Pick your distance (1, 2, or 3 miles)

  • Cross the finish line, grab breakfast, and celebrate for a cause
