The weekend is here, and there is plenty happening around Palm Beach County. From late-night art and live jazz to barbecue, outdoor activities, comedy, family events, and Miss America weekend, there are lots of ways to get out and do something before Monday rolls around.

🎨 Art After Dark

The Norton Museum of Art is staying open late Friday for another Art After Dark.

Visitors can spend the evening exploring the galleries, joining a tour, stopping by the Open Studio, and listening to live music. Jazz vocalist Deb Silver will perform two sets in the Great Hall later in the evening.

Tours are scheduled for 5:30 and 7 PM, while the Open Studio runs from 6 to 9 PM.

🍖 Historic Northwest BBQ, Brews & Blues

BBQ, Brews & Blues returns to West Palm Beach Saturday for its 11th year.

Heart & Soul Park will have barbecue, food trucks, craft brews, vendors, activities for kids, contests, prizes, and live music throughout the evening. This year’s lineup includes Selwyn Birchwood and the Derek Mack Band, with Kat Riggins appearing as part of the VIP experience.

Admission to the main festival is free.

👑 Miss America Final Competition

Miss America week wraps up Sunday night with the final competition at the Palm Beach County Convention Center.

After several days of preliminary events, 11 semifinalists will move on to Sunday’s competition. That group will eventually be narrowed down to five finalists before the next Miss America is crowned.

The event is one of the biggest parts of Miss America week in West Palm Beach and brings the national competition to a close.
